Is Energy Healing Real?

This article will not convince you of the reality of energy healing. Instead, let’s begin by convincing you that your physical body is NOT real. Or, the un-reality of your physical body.

Let’s start with two widely-accepted resources: Scientific American and Psychology Today. The building blocks of your body, as well as all matter, are made of molecules, which are made of atoms. The atom is composed of an electron cloud surrounding the nucleus. This electron cloud is mostly space, as in 99.999% space. The electron itself forms a wave within this space. In other words, everything that appears solid—including your body—is mostly space. Energy makes up over 99% of all matter; less than 1% of matter is solid.

If our body is nearly all space and energy, then why does it look and feel solid? Because it is observed. You can dig dipper by looking at the ground-breaking double slit experiment. Discovery, Wikipedia, and this math magazine offers further explanation.

Here are some facts:

  • Our bodies are mostly space.
  • This space is observable energy.
  • We observe via light.
  • Light is energy.

You can continue to dig into the esoteric philosophies in these other articles: Forever Conscious, Power of Positivity, and New Scientist.

For now, consider this: your brain has about 100 billion neurons. That is about the same number of galaxies in the known universe, as well as the number of stars in each of those galaxies. The universe is within you. You and the universe are alike, and even the same on many levels.

“I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this Universe, we are in this Universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the Universe is in us. When I reflect on that fact, I look up—many people feel small, because they’re small and the Universe is big, but I feel big, because my atoms came from those stars.”
